Sand as a blast medium has been left in the dust-pun intended, by a myriad of new products. Most such as Coal Slag, Aluminum and Copper oxides, Dry Ice are byproducts of industrial processes. These products are somewhat green as they are not derived from virgin natural resources.
Some new abrasives are made from recycled products that if given comparable cost and performance should make all parties involved feel like they are doing their small part to preserve our planets natural resources.
Glass that has been recycled from bottles,Plastic from commercial operations, Walnut shell and Corn cob husks are all products that could be classified as green as they are being used a second time.
We strive to use these green products whenever possible in order to do our part for the Planet.
